Gary Andrews, an illustrator and animator lost his wife, with whom he had been together with for 19 years, suddenly to sepsis. To cope with his loss he took to pen and paper and produced a daily series of works which helped him combat his loss and grief.

For Gary, the daily doodle became a source of therapy, an outlet for his thoughts to deal with what had and was happening in his life. The works are heartfelt and beautifully done and are a candid insight into a situation which many people go through. Gary is currently working on a book covering his first year as a widower in a hope it will help others going through something similar.
